Actually, a few cars went through these intersections, and you can see the colored streaks of white and red. This was only about a 30 sec shot.
This one is a 250 second exposure of the rocket that was launched to the moon Friday night, it was pretty spectacular to watch. Was pitch black out in reality. Got a great view of it in Valley Forge.

Amanda,
All of these pictures are really beautiful! The light, especially in the first two, is really striking and I love that we see so much movement in just the light. For the sake of the assignment though, maybe you could have loved for an area with more movement or busier traffic! Also, the rocket launch photo is so cool!
The shots are really great Amanda. We can see your photo experience coming more into play with these pictures. The blur of the lights, the lights in a linear motion from cars, and the rocket shot is once in the lifetime.
These are really well done! I can tell you probably used a stand for your photos or you have a really steady hand! I also think it's great you took these at night, it really helps the image. And the areas you chose to take these photos in were very well chosen.
I like that you took night photos too. You said the rocket photo was almost completely dark, did you have the camera on the night setting?
All of the shots are really beautiful.
Amanda, these all look very well thought out. Using the angle of the intersection of the first shot adds drama to what could have otherwise been boring. I love the shot at Valley Forge as well; wish I had thought of that! I also wish I didn't fall asleep and miss out on it..
Amanda,
All I can really say is wonderful! These are all excellent captures with time exposure! And I feel like the fact that you did them at night make it very clear of what the photos are suppose to be. The intersection could have been a bit busier, but other than that it's still great!
